Amarnath yatra
Amarnath Yatra is one of India’s most sacred pilgrimages, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nestled in the majestic Himalayas of Jammu & Kashmir, the journey takes devotees to the holy Amarnath Cave, where the naturally formed ice Shivling is worshipped. The yatra offers a blend of spirituality and adventure, passing through breathtaking valleys, snow-capped peaks, and serene landscapes. Every year, thousands of devotees undertake this divine journey seeking blessings, peace, and a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.
The yatra usually begins from Baltal or Pahalgam routes, each offering mesmerizing views of snow-covered mountains, flowing rivers, and lush valleys. Pilgrims chant “Har Har Mahadev” as they trek through the divine trails, filled with devotion and faith.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Transfer to Sonmarg (Approx. 3-4 hrs)
On arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative. Drive through scenic Kashmir landscapes to Sonmarg. Check in at your pre-booked hotel. Enjoy the serene surroundings of this beautiful hill town. Dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg.
Day 2: Sonmarg – Baltal – Panjtarni – Amarnath Darshan – Return to Sonmarg
Early morning transfer to Baltal helipad. Board helicopter to Panjtarni. Trek for 6 km (or opt for pony/palki) to the holy Amarnath Cave. Perform darshan and rituals. Return to Panjtarni and take helicopter back to Baltal. Transfer back to Sonmarg for overnight stay.
Day 3: Sonmarg to Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Dal Lake shikara ride, and visit to the local markets. Overnight stay in a deluxe houseboat or hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey with divine memories of Amarnath Yatra 2025.
