Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath
Depart early from Rishikesh via Haridwar, driving through the Shivalik Hills and along the Ganges River. Pass through Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merge to form the Ganga. Continue via Karnaprayag and Nandaprayag, reaching Joshimath (6,150 ft) by evening.
Check-in at your accommodation and rest overnight.
Day 2: Joshimath to Guling Top
After breakfast, drive to Dhak Village, the trek starting point.
Begin your trek through oak and rhododendron forests with breathtaking Himalayan views including Nanda Devi.
Reach Guling Top, surrounded by meadows and snow-capped peaks.
Evening at leisure for stargazing under the clear Himalayan sky.
Overnight stay at Guling Top campsite.
Day 3: Guling Top to Khullara Top
Start early to witness sunrise over the Himalayas.
Trek gradually upward through forests and meadows to Khullara Top, a higher campsite with open mountain views.
The trail offers spectacular landscapes and the changing mountain terrain adds charm to the journey.
Enjoy the tranquility of the high-altitude air and the night under the stars.
Overnight at Khullara Top.
Day 4: Khullara Top to Kuari Pass and back
Early morning trek to Kuari Pass (12,516 ft), the most rewarding part of the trek.
Witness panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Hathi Parvat, and other majestic peaks.
Spend some time at the pass enjoying the breathtaking scenery before returning to Khullara.
Overnight stay at Khullara Top.
Day 5: Khullara Top to Joshimath
Enjoy breakfast with the final views of the Himalayas.
Descend from Khullara Top to Dhak Village following the same scenic trail.
Drive back to Joshimath and check in at your stay.
Relax, share stories with fellow trekkers, and celebrate completing the trek.
Overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 6: Joshimath to Rishikesh
After breakfast, start your drive back to Rishikesh.
Enjoy the views of river valleys, terraced fields, and mountain villages along the way.
Arrive in Rishikesh by evening and conclude your memorable trek.
