Maharashtra Jyotirlinga

Maharashtra Jyotirlinga Tour is a sacred pilgrimage that covers the five holy Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located across the state of Maharashtra. These temples hold immense spiritual significance and attract devotees from all over India who seek divine blessings and a deep connection with Lord Shiva.

The five Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra are:
  1. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga – Located near Nashik, it is believed to be the origin of the sacred Godavari River and symbolizes the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh.
  2. Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga – Nestled in the Sahyadri hills near Pune, it’s surrounded by dense forests and is also the source of the Bhima River.
  3. Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga – Situated near Ellora Caves in Aurangabad, this is the last (12th) Jyotirlinga in the country and is known for its beautiful architecture.
  4. Aundha Nagnath Jyotirlinga – Located in Hingoli district, it is believed to be the first Jyotirlinga on Earth and holds great mythological importance.
  5. Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga – Found in Beed district, it is associated with stories of devotion and healing powers.

 

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Mumbai – Trimbakeshwar – Aurangabad
  • Morning Pick-up from Mumbai Airport/Hotel/Railway and proceed to Trimbkeshwar Temple.
  • Complete your darshan at Trimbkeshwar Temple.
  • Proceed to Hotel at Aurangabad.
  • Overnight stay in hotel.
  • Start your day after breakfast and proceed to Grishneshwar temple.
  • After doing darshan at Grishneshwar we will proceed to Aundha Nagnath.
  • After completing our darshan we will proceed to Nanded.
  • Overnight stay at Nanded
  • Morning after breakfast proceed for Parli Vaijnath darshan.
  • Once we complete our darshan we will proceed for Shani Sani Sighnapur darshan.
  • After taking blessings from Shani Dev, we will proceed to Ahmednagar.
  • Overnight stay at Ahmednagar.
  • Morning after breakfast proceeds to Bhima Shankar jyotirlinga (170 Km/3-4 Hrs drive).
  • Complete your darshan at Bhimashankar temple.
  • Now, we will proceed to drop either at Mumbai (200 Km/4-5 Hrs drive) or Pune (125 Km/3 Hrs drive) for onward journey!
